A Familiar Face Behind Your RV Move

An RV can hold a lot more than camping supplies. It may be where you spend your weekends, return each winter, or live every day.

Dustin understands that perspective as a full-time campground resident. Moving an RV can mean coordinating reservations, packing belongings, disconnecting from one site, and preparing to settle into another.

That experience gives him a practical understanding of the questions customers bring to a move. Where will the RV go? What does the destination need? Will help be available with positioning, leveling, or hookups?

You can talk through those details directly with Dustin before making arrangements.

Experience behind the business

A Professional Transportation Background

Dustin brings experience from railroad transportation and commercial driving to Happy Trails RV Transport.

18 Years

FRA-Certified Railroad Engineer

Dustin has 18 years of experience as a railroad engineer certified under Federal Railroad Administration requirements. It is a significant part of his professional transportation background.

5 Years

Holding a Commercial Driver’s License

Dustin has held a CDL for five years. Each RV transport request is reviewed for trailer specifications, condition, equipment compatibility, and access before acceptance.

Current TWIC

Credential Held for 5 Years

Dustin holds a current Transportation Worker Identification Credential, commonly known as a TWIC card, which he has maintained for five years.

These credentials represent different aspects of Dustin’s professional background. Railroad certification and TWIC are not RV transport certifications.

An owner-operated approach

Talk With the Person Handling Your Transport

An owner-operated business gives you a direct point of contact. Explain the move in your own words, send photos, and ask questions about pickup or the destination.

If there’s a tight entrance, an equipment concern, or a specific arrival requirement, discuss it with Dustin before scheduling.

Share What You Have

Provide your RV’s year, make, model, dimensions, and available weight information. Photos of the RV and towing connection can help begin the review.

Explain Where It Needs to Go

Send both locations and relevant campground or storage details. Mention access restrictions, arrival windows, and anything unusual about the approach.

Discuss the Help You Need

Include requested departure preparation, positioning, leveling, or setup. Agreeing on the work beforehand helps everyone understand the plan.

The campground perspective

Understanding What Your RV Means to You

For some customers, the RV is part of a vacation. For others, the move involves their home and the belongings they use every day.

Dustin’s campground experience gives him a firsthand view of what happens before and after transport. A site needs to be ready, access needs to work, and placement needs to account for how the RV will be used.

The destination is part of the planning conversation. If you need leveling, stabilization, or utility connections, explain those needs when requesting your quote. Setup depends on the agreed tasks, RV equipment, and site conditions.
